Hi Angela, thanks for dropping by. Sit back and relax while I throw a few quick questions at you.
If you could co-write with another author who would it be and why?
I don’t know who, but someone with a similar style to mine, so the book would blend together. I have quite a few author friends, if they asked me I would jump at the chance to co-author with them.
Where do you do your best work?
In my fancy-smancy new office out the back of my house. It was build early this year and I love being out there, almost to the annoyance of my family. Seems I’m gone but not forgotten. Peace is the best answer to getting words down on a computer page.
Do you set yourself strict rules while you're writing?
Snort, hardly. If I really crack my own whip, I will turn off the internet and focus, if there is a deadline to meet. Otherwise I just go with the flow. I’m very much a mood writer, but when inspiration is strong, there’s no stopping me.
Do you have any authors that have influenced your writing?
Gena Showalter and Sherrilyn Kenyon have been huge influences, in recent years. Before that I was addicted to any Anne Rice book I could lay my hands on. I never really read much sci-fi, but could be found glued to the family TV set watching many sci-fi movies and TV series.
Are you currently working on a new project? If so can you tell us what it will be about?
I’m attempting to write a romantic suspense/murder mystery. Stepping away from Aliens and Shifters for a while and living in the real world. It’s set in Las Vegas where someone is murdering male strippers. The detective has to become a stripper in order to lure out the murder, he’s aided by the heroine, who’s the costume designer for the review show she works for.
Do you use test readers? If so, how many?
I have just a few wonderful beta readers who help review my work to see if it passes the test, or anything needs to be changed. The funny thing about life and fiction. Is fiction has to make sense to a reader, and real life does not!
What does your writing space look like?
Well like I said I have a new writing office. (The Romance studio) so dubbed.
