Today I'm taking part in a blog chain with some fabulous authors in the line up. Tea Cooper posted hers last week and nabbed me to carry the torch. Tea writes such great books as Passionfruit and Poetry, (I lust over that cover) Lilly's Leap and Matilda's run to name a few. You can find out more about her books here: http://www.teacooperauthor.com/blog.html
What am I working on now? I've just released my latest rural read, 'Coming Home.' I'm working on a series called 'The Club' and Two for One, the first book is with my editor while I try to get more words done on 'Fighter Boy,' book two in the series. A bit hard with family and friends all dropping in for Christmas and New Year but, hey, I need a break and I love my family.
How does my work differ from others of its genre? I try to keep most of my books set in Australia but always, I write my settings from places I have been. There is nothing like going all out on research and it's a good excuse to take DH for a trip away and explore together.
Why do I write what I do? Because it is what I like to read. I love sassy characters who aren't afraid to fight for what they want. If you throw in a bit of spicy romance I will like it even more.
How does my writing process work? Generally I start with a name or a glimmer of an idea. It all builds from there. I tend to walk and think, my best way to get the old grey matter working and churning things over. I'm a pantser by heart but lately I've been making charts to get my story to flow where I want it to go.
Now you know how I work, next week it will give me great pleasure to introduce you to three writer buddies of mine.
Dionne Lister. Sydney author and editor Dionne has studied creative writing at Southern Cross University and has self-published four books - one of which has been a best seller on Amazon and iTunes. She writes epic fantasy (very well in my honest opinion) suspense/thriller and chick lit and is currently writing the third and final book in her YA fantasy series, The Circle of Talia. When not on social media or writing, Dionne loves reading and helping authors with their self-publishing endeavours.
Efthalia Pegios. Efthalia lives in the wonderful city of Sydney.
She writes Paranormal Romance and has a strong love for Greek Mythology. Her passion for story stems from the mythological stories her mother told her when she was little.

I live near Mackay in a small town called Mirani, nestled at the base of Eungella National Park. I have four children, three beautiful daughters and one wonderful husband. In between catering for these four`s every need, I work as a relief teacher aide at a local primary and high school. When I find myself with free time you`ll find me tapping away at the computer or reading.
I would have to say reading was my first passion in life, I can`t remember a time when I haven`t had a book close by, or now days my beloved Kindle. Rarely have I met a person as passionate about reading as I am, so I was thrilled when about four years ago I met a special lady who not only shared my love of books but encouraged me to start writing. Two and a half years ago, my love of writing blossomed.I have finished my first Young Adult fiction, started on another and have plans for more. I often fall asleep going over characters and plots in my mind. If only my fingers could keep up with my brain!
